A very typical yoshoku pasta dish that combines the best of Western-style cooking with the flavours of traditional salted seafood ingredients that is popular in Japan. Unlike the more traditional Korean version, mentaiko is Japan's version of cod roes marinated in chiles and spices. Our expression is very simple, adding in just cream to the mentaiko to preserve the rich umami flavours while getting more depth in texture. Perfect for a proper meal but also as a late night snack where a lot of cocktail bars in Japan serve this.
Spaghetti, Mentaiko, Cream, Salt, Black Pepper
Remove outer bag and keep inner packet intact. Simmer packet in boiling water for 6-8 minutes, pour out content and enjoy.
Remove content from all packets and put it into a microwavable container. Reheat in 600W for 5.5 to 6 minutes and enjoy.
Keep frozen at -18°C.
