Chimichurri is a popular green or red, Spanish “raw” sauce that originated in Argentina and Uruguay and is used for both marinades to cook in and as a condiment for grilled meats. It is similar to Moroccan Chermoula in the sense that different herbs and spices are added. Our version is the verde (green) version and we have added in wasabi for the additional kick to the flavour and also a tribute to the Japanese influence in South America following their migration in the early 1900s.
