This product is made with the finest grade of pure breed Iberian pigs, where both the father and mother of the animal are of pure breed and duly registered on the pedigree books held by official breeders. This grade of ham is referred to as the 'pata negra' (black hoof), a commercial label in Spain that is used as a superlative or synonym of the best. Due to the meat quality and the fat content, this 100% Iberian Ham has a minimum 40-month curing process. As a result, the ham offers an unsurpassed flavour, aroma and texture on the palate.
